Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics: Home

A colour photo of the MMLL Library lobby, with people standing next to the self-service machineThe Modern & Medieval Languages and Linguistics Library holds more than 115,000 books, periodicals and DVDs. The Library provides material for the 10 taught languages in MMLL, as well as medieval European languages, and linguistics. Students taking the MMLL Tripos, the MPhil in Film & Screen Studies and the MPhil in European, Latin American & Comparative Literatures & Cultures should find most of the reading list material for their studies here, including multiple copies of high-demand titles.

Please check the Linguistics LibGuide to find Theoretical & Applied Linguistics resources, and Film & Screen Studies LibGuide to find out about film collections and resources. Language courses are often interdisciplinary - make sure to consult our "Curated Resources" page for full information, as well as specific LibGuides for Linguistics and Film studies.

For more information, you can always visit the MMLL Library website or contact us directly. We are always happy to hear from you!
