Law: Ireland

The library guide for Cambridge University's Squire Law Library.

Irish print materials

Our Irish print collection is located on the first floor of the library starting in bookstack 21. Journals and books have a classmark starting with JF.

Examples of our holdings include Irish Current Law and the Annual Review of Irish Law. Our Irish journal collection includes the Bar Review, Irish Law Times, the Irish Jurist, and the Gazette of the Law Society of Ireland. We stock general textbooks such as Byrne and McCutcheon on the Irish Legal System, Kelly on the Irish Constitution, and the reference text Murdoch's Dictionary of Irish Law . We also stock specialist texts including Breslin on Banking Law and Delany & McGrath on Civil Procedure in the Superior Courts.

We receive some of our Irish material through the Legal Deposit Libraries Act of 2003 - this may be in print on the shelves, or electronically using the Electronic Legal Deposit terminals

Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals

The Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals is a multilingual index of foreign, comparative and international law journals. Access is via HeinOnline (University sign-in required).
