There are over 100 separate reading lists across all Faculty programmes which the Library Team are responsible for maintaining on the Library Moodle site. These lists are linked directly from each course site.
 
We can provide guidance on both initial creation and subsequent updating of your reading lists - please look at the Reading List tab  for detailed advice. 

Introductions to the Library are embedded into all course induction programmes and are organised by course administrators.

We also deliver a range of online research skills sessions tailored to the needs of different courses which are arranged in liaison with academic staff.  These cover all aspects of identifying, searching for, accessing, managing and keeping up to date with scholarly material.

Please fill out this staff request form, rather than the student request form on the Library Moodle site, as it asks specific questions relating to your teaching and research that are key for our decision-making. We separately record, monitor and prioritise your requests and subsequent orders, and filling out the staff request form enables us to keep track of this for you.

The University has created Copyright for Lecturers, Instructors and Teaching Staff Guide which offers advice on using and sharing materials for your teaching.

The DRC have brought together resources and guidance to support remote teaching and learning, including accessibility, online learning tools, mental health, wellbeing and assessment.

If your students cannot find the answers they need by looking at the Literature Searching or Referencing guides, please ask them to contact us.
