Education Library: Guide for Staff: Promotion of academic publications & conferences

Conference support & promotion

We enjoy the opportunity to work collaboratively with academic staff in devising window and Library displays of material linked to conferences and Faculty research themes.

Previously we have worked with:

  • Peter Cunningham on the Dewey Conference 2016. The project fostered collaboration with local schools and we were delighted to host works of art from Wroxham School and the University Primary School in displays in the Library. There was wider engagement from the international academic and education community during the conference itself.

  • Arathi Sriprakash and a collective of graduate and postdoctoral scholars on the Education & Race Justice display celebrating works of critical race scholarship.

  • The Primary PGCE Team on showcasing the range of educational resources available in the Library for trainees to take into the classroom. These displays are changed throughout the year to cover the range of curriculum subjects supported within the Library collection.
