Women's Student Support

The impact of women at Cambridge is incalculable. In this section we'd like to draw your attention to organisations that exist to support women and those for whom womanhood forms a part of their gender identity during their studies. In addition to the organisations outlined here, additional organisations across the greater Cambridge area can be found at the university's Equality and Diversity website.

WomCam

The Student Union Women's Campaign supports and represents all students of marginalised genders across the university. The campaign brings together feminist organising across the university and operates on a principle of inclusion to create a community of care and solidarity. Information about upcoming events supported by WomCam and of interest to supporters can be found at the Cambridge SU Women's Campaign's Facebook and Instagram pages.

Cam AWiSE

The Cambridge Association for Women in Science and Engineering is a voluntary network for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine in both academia and industry. Their aim is to help women stay in STEMM and membership is open to anyone who supports these aims irrespective of their gender identity. There is a student discount on the membership fee, which will let you participate in networking events, meetings and receive information.
