Libraries supporting online learning

Model: summary of activity supporting teaching and learning

Read more about Student Experience which informs our practice

All parts of the model below are aspects of library support that many of us are already doing. The question is how best to move them into the online environment. Alongside that there are opportunities to deliver services and resources differently and perhaps to reconsider some that are no longer required.

Checking the support that is provided via each one of these sections for your part of the library service as a whole is a helpful way to make sure that you are supporting online teaching and learning.

Top tip: choose to adopt ideas that are relevant, don't over complicate things

Model: summary of activity supporting teaching and learning. Areas that libraries support which are represented on the model include resources, reading lists, teaching or training, enquiry work, library spaces and the community aspect. Each of these is looked at in turn on this LibGuide.
