Study Skills: CamGuides: Pre-University Skills

About CamGuides

For students studying for A-Levels or EPQs, or who are looking ahead to transition to higher education, the CamGuides website provides a set of resources designed to help you prepare for university, and develop key study skills, regardless of subject.

"CamGuides for Undergraduates" was designed to support students coming to Cambridge, but is an open resource, freely accessible online for all, and has useful information for any pre-university students. It would be especially helpful for students in Years 12-13.

Each CamGuides module includes videos featuring current Cambridge students, key information, and interactive prompts to develop academic skills, which could easily be incorporated by SLOs, teachers and libraries into existing Widening Participation activities.

CamGuides covers the following topics:

You can access CamGuides online, or contact camguides@lib.cam.ac.uk for more information.
