Study Skills: Introduction

Study Skills Support

Students studying in a Cambridge library: courtesy of Churchill CollegeCambridge libraries can offer study skills support for school students, whether they're studying for GCSE or A-Level exams, working on EPQs or other projects, or looking ahead to university study.

The resources in this section can help students to develop key skills that will support their learning now, and prepare them for the transition to Higher Education later.

This section will cover:

  • Study Skills training opportunities and topics
  • Examples of previous school sessions
  • Introduction to the CamGuides online resource for pre-university skills
  • Downloadable and online study skills resources
For SLOs:

To find out more about study skills support for school groups, or to arrange a study skills session, please contact us for more information

For Teachers:

To discuss arranging study skills training as part of a wider visit or virtual introduction to Cambridge, please contact your Schools Liaison Officer in the first instance. All SLOs cover a targeted Link Area in the UK, so each area has a particular SLO to contact.

Look up your Link Area and SLO on the College Area Links website
