for Undergraduates
The 'week in the life' project was co-created with 11 students currently studying at Cambridge from different disciplines and with different interests. The students created this content in their own voice to represent their own experiences of navigating the Cambridge 'week'.
I've made my sort of ideal timetable, where I fit most things in, to give you a taste of what Cambridge is like. There are obviously blank spaces and time gaps, as life isn't programmed by a timetable, and we all need breathing space.
I've attached loads of videos to different things I do, to help explain what they are, and some tips, tricks and things to consider for when you come to Cambridge! Note that some of the videos, like the work, gym, badminton and supervision ones, are repeated where the name of the time slot is the same - but be sure to check out the voi and last minute work one!
My Conclusion Video is one that I really want you to look at!
The main thing I found when arriving at Cambridge was that it was really important to make time for things other than lectures and sleeping - if you don't, you'll feel worse off, and eventually it will affect your productivity too.
The way to get the most out of Cambridge and to really live the 'uni experience' is to make time to live your daily life, making time for things like going to the gym, and cooking, and join things like sports or theatre.
