What can I request?

Only material that is not held in the Cambridge Collection can be requested. 

Why is this?

If the item is held within the Cambridge Collection, requests for scans of this material can be provided in-house through the following Scan and Deliver services:

• Cambridge University Library Scan and Deliver Service (modern collections)

• Cambridge University Library Special Collections Scan and Deliver Service

How long will my request take?

Requests are typically filled within 24 hours of the request. There is no option within the Request Digital Copy service for direct liaison with the holding Library, therefore we cannot guarantee the quality of the provided item(s).

Where does my request come from?

Requests are fulfilled by other institutions who have the item in their holdings. The process is automated and we don't get to choose which Library fulfils the request.
