Ibun Series is the latest digital edition of the renowned collection of historical materials for the study of the Heian and the Kamakura Period. Heian Ibun (平安遺文) is an 11-volume collection of historical materials compiled by the late Dr Rizo Takeuchi (1907-1997) and published by Tokyodo Shuppan over a period of more than 20 years beginning in 1947. Kamakura Ibun (鎌倉遺文) comprises 42 volumes with supplement 4 volumes and Toji Temple Documents 3 volumes published by Takeuchi Rizo over a period of 24 years from 1971,
A database to search and browse all volumes of Edogawa Rampo's handmade "Harimaze Nenpu (貼雑年譜)" in a cross-sectional manner. Harimaze nenpu is a scrapbook containing a vast number of materials collected, organised and preserved by Edogawa Rampo who played an important role in the development of Japanese mystery and thriller fiction. The database contains more than 2,600 original documents including Rampo's own notes, diaries, manuscripts, letters from writers and publishers, pamphlets and clippings from newspapers, all of which are attached to the pages with Rampo's comments. The database covers from 1894 to 1964.
Shiryo Sanshu (Collected Historical Materials) is a major collection of historical materials in which important works have been converted to modern-style Japanese script (reprint) for ease of use. Consisting of an old diaries section and an old documents section, important historical materials of a wide range of genres and from different eras, from ancient to early-modern times, as well as diaries of Imperial Court nobles, warriors, and Buddhist and Shinto priests, have been converted to modern-style Japanese script.
Based on the latest printed editions, the JapanKnowledge editions contain the full text data as page images and as pages converted to modern-style Japanese script. The texts can be browsed, searched and copied, and it is possible to obtain search results by narrowing searches to date, book name, era, and so on.
