Copywrong to Copyright

Conclusion

This unit has covered a great deal of complex information. When dealing with copyright it is important to get accurate information as there can be serious legal consequences if something goes wrong. It is recommended that both librarians and researchers contact their local legal support team for clarification on any issues and always double check advice. However, librarians should not underestimate their skills and knowledge in this area. They have experience in dealing with publication and sharing outputs and usually know more about copyright than their research community! If you are interested in copyright you might like to review some of the other units of the resource to see how copyright runs through each aspect of a research project.
