This service is being delivered in collaboration with the MMLL Library. Book an appointment to collect books fetched for you from the ground floor entrance to the Raised Faculty Building opposite Lady Mitchell Hall. As you book your appointment to collect, you'll be asked to provide information about the books you want. Please provide the book's name, author and the classmark. Please ensure that you are only requesting Philosophy and/or MMLL Library books.
You'll be able to collect the books from the day after you make the request and please make sure you bring your University card with you, wear a face covering, observe social distancing with other users and bring a bag to collect your books. If you are sending someone else to collect books for you please make sure you foward them the email confirming your appointment time. They will not be able to collect your books unless they show a copy of the email in hard copy or on a mobile device.
Note that these appointments are at a time when the Philosophy Library is closed, so you will not be able to do anything other than collect your books.
While this service is available to all members of the University of Cambridge, it is designed particularly for those who have medical conditions which might make using the library challenging or stressful when we are open normally.
Unless you have a medical exemption, you will be required to wear a face covering when coming to collect your books and you should also ensure that you are practising social distancing from other library users. Finally, you should not come to the library if you are feeling unwell.
