The Medical Sciences and Veterinary Tripos (MedVetST) provides the framework for teaching pre-clinical Medical and Veterinary students within the first two years of their degrees at Cambridge. Overseen by the Faculty of Biology and taught across multiple departments, these first two years provide the scientific principles underlying both disciplines. Before moving onto the fourth clinical year, students are able to spend their third year exploring other subjects offered at Cambridge including some delivered as part of the Natural Sciences Tripos.

This guide has brought together many of the resources available to help Medical and Veterinary pre-clinical students with their studies. While there is a lot of overlap in subjects within the Tripos, this guide separates them the two broader disciplines to help you find what you need quickly.
