Remember that you can also recommend items at your College Library, the Moore Library, or the University Library.

Journals and Electronic Resources

Recommendations for journals and electronic resources can be made to the Genetics Library via email or directly to the main University Library via their Recommendation for Acquisition webpage.

About the Genetics Library

The Genetics Library is an excellent resource for all students and staff and is open to any current member of the University.

The Library offers:

  • Computers with sockets for laptops etc. and wi-fi throughout the area
  • Laptop stands
  • Legal Deposit PC to access restricted online items
  • Inter-library loans
  • Whiteboard to receive your feedback 
  • Beanbags and cushions

Print resources available from the Genetics Library include:

  • Reading list items
  • 1900s-1970s reprints and pamphlets

All our print collections are held in the library, and you can find them by classmark (a unique combination of letters and numbers, e.g. EK 319).
