  Collection

  • Newnham’s Rogers Collection has a strong core of late 19th century folklore and fairy tales, which alongside Crane and Caldecott toy books, and works by authors such as Ewing, MacDonald, and Kipling, provides a useful resource for students of late 19th century book illustration, children’s literature and folklore. It was presented to the library by Dr G.F. Rogers in 1934.
